On 28 November, Tan Qiong, chairwoman of Guangzhou Chali Group, delivered a keynote speech titled “The Greater Bay Area Boasts theMost Vigorous Market and Technological Innovation in China” at the closing ceremony of the Asia Youth Leaders Forum 2021.

Respected Secretary Lu, dignitaries, and guests,

Good afternoon! I am Tan Qiong from Guangzhou Chali Group. It is an honor to speak on behalf of Guangzhou enterprises as well as female youths atthe closing ceremony.

Chali is a young consumer goods company thatbenefits from thousands of years of tradition in the Chinese tea industry and relies on the vitality andgreat market capacity of Guangzhou and the Greater Bay Area. After eight years of development, wehave already become a representative enterprise ofnew image, new industry, and new techniques ofChinese tea. Chali is dedicated to makingstandardized tea products in the new era and has already developed a good market reputation and influence. Our market share of bagged tea has already surpassed that of Lipton and gainedpopularity among millions of young Chinese users.

At this event, Chali is very honored to be an official partner of the Asia Youth Leaders Forum. We hope that at the Asia Youth Leaders Forum co-organizedby Asia Youth Leaders Association, we can help Chinese tea, a traditional Chinese cultural symbol,become a vital link between the youths of Asia and an emotional bridge among people from countriesalong the Belt and Road.

I am so grateful to this age that we live in. 100 years ago, Chinese women still had to bind their feet,whereas today we have the opportunity to take on more roles in the development of our society and to create more value. Compared to counterparts inother Asian countries, Chinese women have more room for development and a higher social status.Right now, I would like to call on even more outstanding Chinese women to work together to promote and change the status of women in otherparts of Asia. Besides, I am really looking forward to working together with the China Foundation for Peace and Development and the Asia Youth Leaders Association to launch public welfare programs for Asian women.

I am grateful to the Greater Bay Area and Guangzhou, as it has the most flourishing market and technological innovation in China. Nansha, where this forum is being held, is the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and will soon capture the world's attention as a new economic hotspot with a brightdevelopment prospect.

Guangzhou is also home to the warmest tea and themost delicious food in the world. I hope that all young friends from different countries can enjoy an amazing weekend in Guangzhou, and that everyone can enjoy a splendid evening on the beautiful Pearl River which is next to the Canton Tower.
