各位领导、各位嘉宾：

下午好。很荣幸今天能与大家一起探讨中国和阿联酋青年领袖之间的投资和商业机会。感谢主办方出色的论坛组织，感谢邀请我来到中国，这个国家一直以其丰富的历史和文化激励着我。

我是马泽凯，来自“拥抱中国”。众所周知，拥抱中国是在2018年7月中国国家主席阁下对阿联酋进行国事访问期间成立的。从那时起，拥抱中国就成为了一个实用的平台，使中国和阿联酋企业能够在以下领域利用文化、资本、投资、贸易机会，包括高科技、教育、旅游和文化等。

尽管疫情肆虐，拥抱中国仍专注于高科技驱动的数字化转型和可持续发展。我们为多项重要成就感到自豪，包括举办首届中阿经贸数字博览会、落地重点领域的项目、接待不同省份代表团、为阿联酋引入新能源技术和智慧农业等。

中国和阿联酋之间的关系近年来日益深化，双方都渴望扩大文化交流和经济联系。中国是世界上最大的经济体之一，在技术创新和基础设施发展方面取得了长足的进步。另一方面，阿联酋已成为中东地区的主要国家，其充满活力的经济和战略位置使其成为通往该地区的门户。

能体现中国和阿联酋之间这种机遇的一个绝佳案例便是广州和迪拜。广州是中国最重要的商业和制造业中心之一，拥有丰富的历史和文化，从事了几个世纪的贸易和交流活动，2022年的国内生产总值超过28亿元人民币。另一方面，迪拜是一个充满活力的城市和商业、旅游和创新中心，拥有现代化的基础设施，使其成为世界上联系最紧密的城市之一。更重要的是，它一直是在国际上推广产品的最佳场所。

今年，我们看到迪拜的中国公司数量有所增加。随着“在阿联酋成功”项目的实施，我们希望能迎接更多的中国公司。阿联酋与中国在制造业和其他工业领域的合作潜力巨大。阿联酋拥有令人惊叹的贸易和物流基础设施，是此类合作的完美合作伙伴。我们很高兴见证中国和阿联酋机构之间成功的伙伴关系。

我们已经看到成功的公司和中国作开展合作的案例。NEV公司就是中国年轻企业家达成富有成效的联盟的绝佳例证，他们将中国电动汽车产品、新能源基础设施和智能应用引入阿联酋及周边地区。

根据联邦竞争力和统计中心的数据，在与吸引年轻人有关的14个竞争指标中，阿联酋在阿拉伯世界和全球都排名第一。这些指标包括对留学生的吸引力、雇佣技能劳动者的难易度、对外国人的包容度以及吸引人才的能力等。这些排名巩固了阿联酋作为世界各地年轻人生活、学习、工作和居住首选地的地位。该报告基于衡量全球竞争力的各个国际组织和机构的数据编制而成，强调了阿联酋在吸引和留住国际学生和技能劳动者方面的成功及其为外国人创造友好环境的坚定承诺。

在8月12日纪念国际青年日之际，阿联酋副总统兼总理、迪拜酋长谢赫·穆罕默德·本·拉希德·阿勒马克图姆殿下通过专门的社交媒体帖子向阿联酋青年致敬，称他们为国家的“希望和财富”，赞赏他们在各个领域取得的成就，并敦促年轻一代将未来掌握在自己手中。“我们在很多事情上都取得了成功，感谢真主！”他在这一激励信息中说。“然而，阿联酋已经取得了最大的成功——它的青年。他们是未来，他们也是传承事业、励精图治的人。这句话送给那些克服障碍的青年、那些‘希望和财富’：我曾经和你一样年轻，我的梦想最终实现了。艰难过后，好日子接踵而至。”殿下说。

Mohammad Saeed Al Marzouki calls for dialogue and cooperation for a brighter future for China and UAE

Your Excellencies and Distinguished Guests, 

Good afternoon. It is an honor for me to be here today with you all to explore investment and business opportunities between youth leaders of China and the United Arab Emirates. I am grateful to the organizer for this excellent organization of the Forum and for inviting me here to China, a country that always inspires me with its rich history and culture.

I am Mohammad Al Mazouki from Hala China. As we all know, Hala China was established during the state visit of His Excellency President Xi Jinping to the United Arab Emirates in July 2018. Since then, Hala China has been a practical platform for enterprises from China and UAE to leverage on culture, capital, investment, and trade opportunities across various segments such as high technology, education, tourism, culture, and many more.

Despite the pandemic, Hala China has been focusing on digital transformation and sustainability powered by high technology. We are proud of several key achievements, including hosting the first China-UAE Economic and Trade Digital Expo, landing projects from key sectors, hosting delegations from different provinces, and introducing new energy technologies and smart agriculture to the United Arab Emirates.

The relationship between China and the UAE has been growing stronger in recent years, with both sides eager to expand their cultural exchanges and economic ties. China is one of the world's largest economies and has made remarkable strides in technological innovation and infrastructure development. The United Arab Emirates, on the other hand, has emerged as a major player in the Middle East, with its dynamic economy and strategic location that makes it the gateway to the region.

One of the key cities that exemplify the opportunities between China and the UAE is Guangzhou and Dubai. Guangzhou is one of China's most important commercial and manufacturing centers, with a rich history and culture that has been shaped by centuries of trade and exchange with a GDP of more than 2.8 billion RMB in 2022. Dubai, on the other hand, is a vibrant city and hub of business, tourism, and innovation, with a modern infrastructure that has made it one of the most connected cities in the world. More importantly, it has been the best place to promote products internationally.

This year, for that we have seen an increase in the number of Chinese companies in Dubai, and we are excited to welcome many more, especially with the Make it in the Emirates campaign. There is great potential for collaboration with China on manufacturing and other industry sectors. The UAE has amazing trade and logistics infrastructure and is the perfect partner for such collaboration. We are happy to witness the successful partnership between China and UAE entities. 

We have seen successful companies that started collaboration with China. For example, NEV is a prime illustration of young Chinese entrepreneurs landing a fruitful alliance by introducing Chinese electric automotive products, new energy infrastructure, and smart applications in the United Arab Emirates and surrounding areas.

The UAE has ranked first globally and in the Arab world in 14 competitive indicators related to attracting young people, according to the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center. The indicators include attraction of international students, skilled labor availability, tolerance towards foreigners, and the ability to attract talent, among others. These rankings reinforce the UAE's position as a preferred destination for young people from around the world to live, study, work, and reside. The report highlights the UAE's success in attracting and retaining international students and skilled workers, as well as its strong commitment to creating a welcoming environment for foreigners. The report is based on data from various international organizations and institutions that measure global competitiveness.

Marking International Youth Day on August 12, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, has hailed Emirati youth via a dedicated social media post. Calling them the nation’s “hope and treasure”, the ruler celebrated their achievements in various fields and urged the young generation to take the future into their hands. “We thank God that we have succeeded in many things,” he says in the inspiration message. “However, the UAE and the union has achieved its biggest success — its youth. They are the future. They are the ones that will take matters into their hands in the future as well. To the youth who overcome obstacles, to those who are hope and treasure, I was young once like you. And my dreams did come true. After hardship, good days followed,” His Highness said.

The potential for collaboration between China and the UAE is enormous. Hala China and the Asia Youth Leaders Forum are committed to fostering international cooperation and exchange, and we believe that China and the UAE are two countries that can benefit greatly from each other.
