3月26日，在亚洲青年领袖论坛“亚洲的未来”青年领袖交流会上，广州南沙开发区（自贸区南沙片区）党工委副书记谢伟发表讲话。

尊敬的各位嘉宾、青年朋友们：
大家下午好！很荣幸参加2023亚洲青年领袖论坛，和各位朋友一起传递青年的声音，共话亚洲的未来。在此，我代表广州南沙对各位青年代表的到来表示热烈的欢迎，向以实际行动增进亚洲青年合作的各界朋友们致敬。
亚洲各国山水相连，人文相亲，这是我们能够想到一起、聚到一起、干到一起的天然优势。粤港澳大湾区是亚洲范围内开放程度最高、发展基础最好的区域之一，南沙则是粤港澳大湾区中最具发展潜力的平台，充满着高质量发展的活力，成功举办了首届亚洲青年领袖论坛等众多的国际会议活动。这次论坛继续在南沙举办，正是南沙国际知名度与日俱增的最好注释。
当今世界，发挥青年优势，强化国家间合作的理念正得到越来越多的认同，这也和南沙面向世界开放的策略和愿景的高度契合。去年的6月，中国国务院印发了《广州南沙深化面向世界的粤港澳全面合作总体方案》，我们称之为《南沙方案》，提出将南沙打造成为立足湾区、协同港澳、面向世界的重大战略性平台，在粤港澳大湾区的建设中更好地发挥引领带动作用，南沙的战略地位得到空前的提升。特别是方案的专篇部署要求，南沙要创建青年创业就业合作平台，这既为粤港澳青年心相通，带动粤港澳大湾区的大融合提供了良机，也为亚洲青年共建“一带一路”高质量发展提供了鲜活的案例。
总书记指出，要努力推动构建人类命运共同体，为世界和平发展增加更多稳定性和正能量。十年来，在总书记的有力领导和持续推动下，构建人类命运共同体理念的壮阔实践正在不断地深入推进。青年是最积极、最有生机活力的力量，面对百年未有之大变局，亚洲的青年代表更应勇担时代责任，共同推动构建亚洲命运共同体。
南沙是一个年轻而富有朝气的城区。我们愿意发挥自身的优势，为亚洲各国的科技、文化、健康、医疗、贸易、投资合作搭建高水平的共享平台，持续增强对亚洲青年的吸引力，以南沙的湾区之心促进亚洲的心心相印。希望各位青年代表更多的关注南沙、支持南沙、投资南沙，我们期待共同建设更加美好的未来。谢谢大家！
Xie Wei says GBA's heart of Nansha will promote Asian connectedness
On 26 March, Xie Wei, deputy secretary of Party Working Committee of Nansha Development Zone (Nansha Free Trade Zone), delivered his remarks at the Youth Leaders Exchange on “Future of Asia” of the Asia Youth Leaders Forum. Following is the full text of the speech.
Distinguished guests,
Dear young friends,
Good afternoon. It is an honor to attend this year’s Asia Youth Leaders Forum, conveying the voice of youth and shaping the future of Asia together. On behalf of Nansha, Guangzhou, I wish to extend my warmest welcome to all the youth delegates and my highest regards to all that have taken practical actions to enhance youth cooperation in Asia.
Asian countries are connected by mountains and rivers, as well as cultural affinity.
This is why we can think alike, get together, and work in concert naturally. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the most open regions in Asia with the best foundation for development. Within the area, Nansha is the most promising platform for high-quality development. We have organized the first Asia Youth Leaders Forum and many more international events. The continuation of this forum in Nansha is the best footnote for Nansha’s increasing international reputation.
In today’s world, the concept of giving play to the advantages of youth to improve cooperation between countries is gaining more and more recognition. This is also highly consistent with Nansha’s strategy and vision of opening up to the world. In June last year, the State Council of China issued the Overall Plan for Promoting Comprehensive Cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao by Further Deepening Opening-up in Nansha District of Guangzhou, which we call the “Nansha Plan”. It envisions Nansha as a major strategic platform for advancing the Greater Bay Area’s development and collaborating with Hong Kong and Macao to further open up to the world, playing an exemplary role in the development of the Greater Bay Area in a better fashion. Nansha’s strategic position has thus been elevated to a new height. One of the Plan’s sections specifically requires Nansha to create youth entrepreneurship and employment cooperation platforms. This not only provides a good opportunity for bonding between youth from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao and for integration of the Greater Bay Area, but also serves as a vivid example of Asian youth advancing the Belt and Road Initiative in a high-quality fashion.
President Xi Jinping noted that we should push for the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and supply world peace and development with more stability and positive energy. Over the past decade, under President Xi Jinping’s strong guidance and continuous promotion, the endeavor of building a community with a shared future for humanity is seeing steady progress. Youth is the most active and vibrant force. Faced with unprecedented changes in a century, youth representatives from Asia should take on the responsibility and push for the development of an Asian community with a shared future together.
Nansha is a young and vibrant town. We are willing to leverage our strengths to build a high-standard sharing platform for scientific, technological, cultural, healthcare, trading, and investment cooperation between Asian countries and to constantly enhance our appeal to Asian youth, using Nansha, this heart of the Greater Bay Area, to bring closer the hearts in Asia. I hope youth delegates here will follow Nansha’s developments, support, and invest in Nansha more. We look forward to building a better future together. Thank you.
